So on Sunday morning I get an email from my manager, he sent me an email that says "support your local porn start." During my years working close by with the fire department I have come to realize that there are 2 types of firemen…Real Firemen, and Banana Pants
Real Firemen are those that love the job, who show respect to those they work along side of, who take care and treat the patients they respond to the best of their ability, they treat the patient not the policy. They are humble about themselves, and are willing to risk their lives for yours.
The other type of firemen I call banana pants, they look like real firemen, get paid the same amount as real firemen, but when you look underneath it all they are not real fireman.
Banana pants are the type of firemen/medic who go on a medical call and hand it off to the ambulance personnel without doing a proper assessment. They have no respect for the people they are suppose to be helping, they think it is a burden to run any calls other than a “structure fire.” They are the guys who belittle a brand new EMT for not doing his/her job correctly instead of teaching them how to do things proper, they are the firemen who constantly use the uniform to pick up on women sleep with them once and never call again. These are men who sleep with women and write the girls name and number on the wall of the men’s bathroom at the station.
Examples:
banana pants attempt to ship a patient BLS who had an arterial bleed that was uncontrolled, because they had a structure fire the patient almost died…he had to have surgery…

Banana pants shipped a patient BLS who had a massive GI bleed, when asked what do I tell the nurse why you didn’t want to follow up they told me it because it wasn’t in their policy to follow up on those types of calls. When the patient was seen at the hospital I explained what the banana pants told me to say to the nurse…lets just say those banana pants didn’t talk to me for a month because they thought I went behind their back and through them under the bus…the patient died 3 days later

Banana pants asked me in the back of my ambulance if I had any new movies coming out….which would have been fine, but it was in front of a 16 year old female patient…

Banana pants run a call on a diabetic patient who’s blood sugar was in the 40s they start an IV push D50 bring the sugar to 80, but ship it with BLS ambulance personnel…patients blood sugar dropped to 50 by the time they got to the hospital.

Banana pants don’t do a 12 lead on a 40 year old female with abdominal pain, they ship the patient BLS when we got to the hospital the patient was having an MI…

So the other night was Niki Hunters birthday and Rico Montana's release party for Hot Butter Porn's new DVD. I hadn't been to Sardos since school started. So it was nice to see everyone. Amongst the guests were Powder, Tony Bones, Tucker Slain, Tee Reel, Sophie Dee Lee Bang, Tommy Gunn and others.

The VIP section was packed and spilled out onto the tables. So I go outside to smoke a cigarette and one of the girls follows me out there…while we were talking she begins to go into a full body seizure…fuck…
I am yelling for any one of the girls to wake up to come help me out, because the way she was positioned she was going to hit her head on my concrete wall…I’m holding her head when they finally come outside…I told one of them that if she keeps going we were going to half to call for the fire department…
We end up calling 911 because her seizure lasted for a good min and a half…
I picked her up after she stopped and brought her inside…(yes I’m strong lol)…
I had one of the girls run up and grab my roommate so he could move the furniture around so the FD had a place to put the gurney…
They came, I gave a quick report with what I knew about her…and they left…this was all before 9am…
Later my roommate goes to the hospital to pick her up and bring her back (she was fine by the way, she has seizures all the time)…
when they come back my brother asked me if I want to go out to dinner with our friend Eric who just came back from Afghanistan. Who I hadn’t seen in months…which was good to see him…alive (after he had been blown up over there)…
So I had only a few hours to study…
When we (my brother and I) came back from dinner, we walked into another party…which was not planned…I had to finish studying for my quiz on Monday…
They were so loud downstairs at 11pm I had to leave the house…I went to Dennys for a bit to have some coffee and hopefully read…which didn’t work either because I guess they were having a party too…the music was soooooo loud…
so I was about to leave when my server kindly stopped me, turned down the music and moved me to a quite table…
So I got to read for an hour before all the drunk people came in…
When I came home the party was still raging…I tried to sleep a little because I had a shoot the next day…so I wasn’t going to be able to study again…
(The shoot was fun it was at this garage that housed a bunch of old corvettes…I can’t wait for the pics)
I came home around 7pm and my brother and roommate were on the couch…the place was spotless…they knew I was frustrated…
I opened the books to study some more, but ended up falling asleep…waking up to my alarm screaming at me to get the fuck up…
So the whole weekend I probably spent about 5 hours in the books….you think that’s a long time right? Not for nursing school…I should be spending at least 9 hours a day reading…
All in all I failed my quiz…
So I had a long talk with my roommate when I came home…I basically told him no more parties at the house until school is done, otherwise I will move out and live in my truck again…if I’m not working I should be in the books…I have spent 12 years trying to get into this program…and now its here…I cant fuck up any more…

Since this seems to be the topic for discussion this week...lets talk about HIV...it is not just a homosexual thing its a straight thing as well...People are putting the blame on homosexuality in the industry, but it does not just effect homosexuality it effects everyone.Those who go out and are careless, who have sex without a condom with those people who are not tested are putting themselves and everyone else at risk.

Prevention is the key....no glove no love...use condoms in your personal life if you are going to be in the Porn industry, even if your not....HIV is not something to joke about...It is not something that should be wished on anyone...educate yourself on STDs and stop making accusations without the facts

ok so its the last week of the first class...My final exam is on Thursday... which means I am half way through first semester....as long as I pass...

Since I am stressed the best way to cope is to talk about it...and since I have to learn about stress and coping I thought I would share a little from my book...lets just see what pertains to me...
